Living in a tiny house is one way that we strive to live more ethically with a smaller footprint on this planet. Going vegan stemmed primarily from a love for the animal realm including welfare and loss of diversity, but it also includes environmental concerns and general health. We strongly believe that going vegan – or at least greatly reducing the use of animal products – will not only make this planet greener, healthier for both animals and humans alike but is actually a huge contributor to unrest in this world. Compassion spans many aspects to this world and essential to our wellbeing.
This section includes essays about the damage certain industries and behaviours cause to the three drivers mentioned above – treatment of animals, environmental damage and human health & welfare. If you are not vegan and wish to understand more, a good place to start is why dairy is scary, why vegans eat mock meat & dairy and what lead to Mike going vegan after 40 years of eating meat. There are heaps of other useful posts plus reviews to vegan foods, fun videos and more.
